T-Track System — User Guide

Follow the race, understand rider progress and navigate to key points along the course.

Quick Start

Use Menu to find riders, filter categories and access live GPS information.

Use Tools to open Replay, manage visible Tracks, locate your position and access this guide.

Tap any rider marker or rider card to locate the rider and open detailed race and GPS information.

Riders and GPS Loop Order

Open Menu to access two views: Riders and GPS Loop Order.

In Riders, filter the list by category, search by bib number or rider name, or use Rider Gap to estimate the distance between two riders on the same track.

Tap a rider card to center the map on that rider and open their details.

In GPS Loop Order, riders are automatically grouped by category and shown in their estimated order on the same track, based on their calculated GPS progress.

Rider Information and Status

Tap a rider marker to view the information currently available:

  • Category: the rider's category.
  • Phase: the rider's current race phase.
  • Track Colour: the colour of the track the rider is on.
  • Speed: the rider's current speed reported with the latest GPS position.
  • Battery: the battery level last reported by the rider's tracker.
  • Distance from track: the approximate distance from the expected track.
  • Progress: kilometres completed from the start of the assigned track.
  • Remaining: kilometres left to reach the end of the assigned track.
  • ETA: estimated time for the rider to reach the end of the current phase, calculated from their current progress and current speed. It is not based on the race average and changes as the rider's speed and progress are updated.

Use Export GPX to download the rider's recorded GPS track when the action is available.

GPS status
LIVE: a recent position is available.
DELAYED / NO SIGNAL: no recent GPS update has been received.
OFF ROUTE: the rider appears to be outside the expected track.
Race status
FINISHER: the rider has completed the race.
ELIMINATED: the rider is no longer in the race following elimination, withdrawal or retirement.
NO GPS: no GPS position is available yet.
GPS Loop Order and Rider Gap

GPS Loop Order shows the estimated order of active riders on the current loop, based on their calculated GPS progress.

It provides a live operational view of the race. It is not the official classification and may differ from official timing results.

Use Rider Gap in Live mode to compare two riders in the selected category. The system calculates which rider is ahead and their estimated separation using GPS progress.

A warning appears when riders are on different phases or tracks, when GPS data is delayed or when either rider is off route.

Replay

Open Replay to review recorded rider movement over time.

Choose one or more categories and riders, then use the timeline and playback controls. Available playback speeds are 1x, 5x and 10x.

When the event is live, use ● LIVE to return to current positions.

Replay information depends on the GPS positions recorded during the event.

Tracks and My Position

Open Tracks to show or hide the tracks available for the event. Each track is identified by its colour.

Open My position to locate yourself and see where riders are in relation to your position on the same track:

  • To you: the rider is approaching your position.
  • At your point: the rider is within approximately 30 metres of your position along the track.
  • Passed: the rider has already passed your position.

Location access must be enabled. If your detected position is more than approximately 200 metres from the track, the system asks you to move closer before showing rider proximity information.

Crew Points and Navigation

Crew Points mark locations along the event tracks that crews may need to reach. Tap a point to see its name, track and any available details.

Select Navigate to open driving directions to the exact POI coordinates.

Use Change navigator to choose Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze, depending on your device. You can remember your choice on that device or copy the destination coordinates.

Navigation does not replace event instructions. Always follow local traffic rules, access restrictions and directions provided by the organiser.
Understanding GPS Data

GPS information may be affected by mobile coverage, tracker transmission intervals, battery level, temporary signal loss, terrain and GPS accuracy.

Progress, remaining distance, ETA, Rider Gap and GPS Loop Order are calculated from the received GPS data and the tracks configured for the event.

They provide situational awareness but do not replace official timing, classifications, veterinary decisions or instructions from race officials.
